Ultrasonic Nebulizer are used as a solution for inhalation therapy with medication to be administered directly to the lungs, it is very vital to know that the inhaled aerosol (mixture of gas and liquid particles) droplets can only make a way into the narrow branches of the lower airways if they have a small diameter of 1-5 micrometers. If it is not going directly to the lungs then it is absorbed by the mouth cavity wherein the effect is comparatively very low. Ultrasonic nebulizer converts low viscosity liquid into fine like particles. Liquids enter a vessel through a side port supplied with a unit and sit on top of a vibrating element. As waves move through the liquid, the liquid will begin to be pushed upward, making a small fountain. The small particles will begin to float above the liquid and appear like smoke. Gravity will have little effect on these particles produced. To move the particles vacuum is needed.
